I’m happy to announce that the IFT Level III Summary Course is now complete.  In creating this course I’ve considered the learning outcomes and CFA Institute questions over the last several years.  I am confident that the slides/videos (about 10.5 hours) cover more than 80% of what you are likely to see on your exam. (Note: This is purely my prediction. We will be able to validate the accuracy of my claim when CFA Institute releases the 2017 essay exam.)

Now a few words on what you get from the summary course and how to make the most of this material. You will you get:

  1. Slides containing the most testable facts and formulas.
  2. Videos where I am largely reading from the slides.
  3. References to where concepts have been tested in the past (in a PDF file)

To keep the video content under 10 hours I generally don’t give detailed explanations. Basically, you get a distilled version of what you need to know.

Editors note: This course is included in the Level III Crash Course — your ULTIMATE COMPANION for the final month of exam prep.

How to benefit from the summary course:

  1. Absorb/learn the material
    • -Read the slides and/or
    • -Watch the video and/or
    • -Listen to the audio version

2. After you are done with a given study session/topic

    • -Work through relevant questions from past essay exams (if you need help please join our online QA sessions)
    • -Work through CFA Institute online questions and IFT quizzes.
    • -Go over practice problems in the curriculum.

As I keep saying, in the final few weeks you should practice as much as possible… but at the same time you also need to internalize the most important facts and formulas. This is what the summary slides/videos will help you with!
